To begin your experience, take a SITA bus from Amalfi to Salerno. The gorgeous ride takes approximately one to one and a half hours. 

After reaching Salerno, head to the train station and take a regional train to Pompei Scavi-Villa dei Misteri station, which will take you about 40 minutes.
